I am looking at buying a netbook for my college work, and so I have something to do in my free periods.

Anyone know any good ones to get?

My price range is about £250 - £400, and I don't want to get one on a wireless deal as my college has free wi-fi.

I will mainly use it for:

• Light work - notetaking etc.
• Internet browsing - looking up stuff playing games, reading news and TTG!
• Light gaming.
  

I'm happy to go with either Windows or Linux (Linux only if it can do all i need, witch I'm pretty sure it can)
Should have a good battery life, so I don't run out in the middle of the day.
