So, it turns out Windows 7 has a neat hidden feature called “Godmode”. Unfortunately, it can’t be activated by pressing “↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ ← → ← → B A“.
However what it does do is unlock a super powered control panel, with links to EVERY setting Windows has to offer. Everyhing from the colors of your desktop to the administrative privileges can now be changed with this “Godmode”.
To do this, create a new folder and name it thus:
GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
The icon and name change, and you get a shiny new “Godmode” control.
It works on Vista as well supposedly, although problems have been heard of on 64-bit Vista.
The useful thing is, you can place these anywhere.
UPDATE: (Geek here, tried it on 32-bit Vista and it crashed me..oh well. Good luck to those of you with 7!)
UPDATE: Turns out there are several other codes for it, mainly doing more basic features of the control panel. Here is the full list:

Cool! Too bad it doesn’t work on Macs =/. That’s the thing I hate about OSX. You can’t hack into it whatsoever. Plus it doesn’t have as much software as Windows. I can live without that though since a ton of the software is now web-based.
