Hey! Congratz on your first video!
It’s very proffessional video, which is not what I’m used to in screen-casts, least of all ones done by teens! This was a very pleasant surprise!
May I ask what software you used for the screen-casting, as well as some details about the hardware used, especially the microphone.
Keep up the good work!
Hey Zagorath thanks for the feedback! I am using Camtasia Studio 6 to for the screen recorder, and a Logitech “USB Desktop Microphone” (Couldnt find another name). Both have been working well for me. And Im glad you liked to video, I hope to be doing more reviews in the future.
Haha don’t worry about another name, I’ve done quite a bit of research into Logitech products, especially Webcams and Headset/Microphones.
While we’re on the topic, what advantages do you see in a desktop mic over a headset? I’ve been trying to decide which to get.
Also, what program do you use for editing the video (or does Camtasia come with one): both for screen casts, and for any “normal” videos you do?
After a bit of research, I was very interested to find that Camtasia is made by the same company as a program I use, SnagIt.
Actually i wish i had a headset, the one i have seems more aimed towards like an office environment. And Camtasia has a simple editor built in that I use.
